Week 1 Day 6
Review
A New Beginning
Like the prodigal son in Luke 15, it is time to declare that enough is enough. It is time to return to our Father God and ask Him for help on our path to a healthier body. This week's scriptures have assured us that if we ask, God is willing to help us. Are you ready to ask?
When God does something new in our lives it is never like anything else we have experienced before. If He does something new for you in these areas what would you expect:
1. eating habits
2. attitude about your weight
3. attitude toward other overweight people
4. attitude toward thin people
What new principles has the Lord taught you this week?
How could you be more faithful in honoring the Lord next week?
What are some of the ways you stray from the Father's care and protection?
What encouragement do you get from the words, "I will arise and go to my Father"?
Tell about a victory from your first week.
Did you have a defeat? What was it? Rephrase it in the form of a prayer request. Rephrase it in the form of a goal for next week.
Review your goals, remember the goals that you had at the beginning. Did you accomplish them? Why, why not?
Finish these sentences:
1. I am surrendering to God ........
2. I am choosing to be more obedient to God in ....
